Terms and conditions of use
Alliance Medical Limited is part of the Life Healthcare Group operating in a number of countries including the UK. The ultimate parent company operates in South Africa and other members of the Group operate in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Northern Europe, Spain, and Italy through its subsidiary companies.
The business for the purposes of employment in the UK is operated through its subsidiary companies Alliance Medical Limited (“AML”) Alliance Medical Radiopharmacy Limited (“AMRL”) and the European Scanning Centre (Harley Street) Limited (“ESC”).
AML employs individuals directly or via ESC for its diagnostic imaging business or via AMRL for its radiopharmacy business.
Applicant Tracker - Website/Portal
These terms relate to your use of the Applicant Tracker Website and/or Portal (“Website/ Portal”),confirm your obligations whilst using the Website/Portal and set out details of how we will use the information you provide via this Website/Portal in connection with applications for employment with AML,AMRL and/or ESC respectively(“the Terms”).
Please note that with certain applications for employment we may adopt profiling and or/automated decision making linked to the job role and any specific requirements to assist with the application process.
By using the Website and/or Portal, you confirm that you accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to all of the Terms, you must stop using the Website and/or Portal.
These Terms are in addition to any other contractual agreement you may have with AML/AMRL or ESC which must be strictly complied with. Your use of the Website and/or Portal is subject to any relevant conditions, including but not limited, to those contained in any contractual agreement you may have with AML, AMRL, and ESC.
We update the Terms from time to time ("Updated Terms") and will give you reasonable notice of any major changes. Where we do so, the Updated Terms will be brought to your attention and your continued use of the Website and/or Portal following such notification will indicate your acceptance of any Updated Terms.
We do not guarantee that the Website and/or Portal, or any content on it, will always be available, uninterrupted or suitable for viewing on your computer or other device. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Website and/or Portal for business and operational reasons. We will endeavour to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.
2. Creating an Account
In order to use the Website and/or Portal we will provide you with a username and a password to create and activate your Account. Once you have logged in to your Account for the first time, you must change your password to a strong password that you will remember. You are responsible for all of the activity that occurs in association with your Account.
If you choose, or you are provided with, a password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.
We reserve the right to disable your Account at any time if, in our reasonable opinion, you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of the Terms.
3. Acceptable Usage
The Website and/or Portal may be used by any person who has created an Account.
You may print off a copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from the Website and/or Portal solely for the purpose of recruitment and/or potential employment. If you print off, copy or download any part of the Website and/or Portal in breach of the Terms, your right to use the Website and/or Portal will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

The Website and/or Portal may include information, comments, suggestions or posts by other users of the Website and/or Portal, and these have not been verified or approved by us. The views expressed on the Website and/or Portal by other users do not represent our views or values. 5. Your Privacy
We will only hold and process any personal data (including sensitive personal data) collected for the purpose of administering the Website and/or Portal in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulations(“GDPR”) as amended from time to time.
You may give us information when you create an Account, comment or post via the Website and/or Portal or by corresponding with us (for example by telephone or email) in relation to the Website and/or Portal. This may include without limitation, your name, personal address, email address, salary information, employment history, telephone number, criminal convictions, reference information, equal opportunities anonymised information for reporting purposes and any criminal convictions. We may use any personal data collected in connection with your use of the Website and/or Portal in the following ways:

- to deactivate your Account for any reason;
- to carry out our obligations arising from any contractual agreements that you may have;

- to answer your support queries in the event that you contact us about a technical issue that you are experiencing with the Website and/or Portal;

In limited and necessary circumstances, your information may be transferred outside of the EEA to systems hosted by other Life Healthcare group companies and/or other third party suppliers for purposes in connection with your the use of the system for employment purposes. Where we do so we will ensure that there are organisational and technical measures in place to ensure the security of your data.
8. Protection of Your Personal Data
We take the security of your data seriously. Alliance Medical has internal policies and controls in place to govern the use of your data and has measures in place to endeavour data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by its employees in the performance of their duties. These controls include, but are not limited to, the use of best practice when securely storing and processing your information; clear information governance policy and guidance; and regular internal and external audits on compliance and security.
Where we engage third parties to process personal data on our behalf, they do so on the basis of written instructions, are under a duty of confidentiality and are obliged to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of data
9. Your Rights
The Data Protection Act 2018 and (GDPR ) gives you the right to access information held about you. You have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data, the right to restrict processing, object to processing as well as in certain circumstances the right to data portability.
If you have provided consent for the processing of your data you have the right (in certain circumstances) to withdraw that consent at any time which will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before your consent was withdrawn.

You have the right to lodge a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe that we have not complied with the requirements of the GDPR or DPA with regard to your personal data.

Although we make reasonable efforts to ensure that the Website and/or Portal is a secure environment we do not guarantee that the Website and/or Portal will be secure or free from Computer Viruses. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage you may suffer as a result of a Computer Virus harmful content transmitted via the Website and/or Portal.
We will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with these Terms for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of your use of or in connection with the Website and/or Portal.
